replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi #pttravel from #Florida where it’s summer year round!
Q2 Which trips were disrupted, cancelled or delayed due to weather? What did you do?
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. In theory I should have cancelled my Joshua Tree #travel in June 2020 because it was INCREDIBLY hot 🥵.. but I didn’t mind. It meant an empty park and hikes all to myself #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: I went camping in an Airbnb school bus a few weeks ago and it rained the whole Saturday. So, I just slept lol it was lovely and I got much needed rest! #PTTravel
A2- We just missed a hurricane flying out of #Jamaica. Half of our crew flew out of Miami and had to fly back into Orlando. A lot of shuffling vehicles, but we got everyone home.
replying to @Travel_Session @Travel_Session WOW! glad you got out before the 🌧 I love Jamaica! I want to explore beyond Montego #pttravel
A2 I'm quite lucky weather wise but our trip to Aqaba was a bit of a wash out - tropical storm and trees falling down. So beach closed, no snorkeling or red sea boat trip #pttravel
replying to @bigfatheadz @bigfatheadz No tropical storm is gonna stop the consumption of ice cream 🍦😂 #PTTravel
Q3 Share some of your good, bad and even ugly weather photos
replying to @kate_frankie
@kate_frankie A3. Anything other than SUN is bad news for me when I #travel ...
Except when I chase the snow ❄️😉
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5 I tend to find a hooded coat works better than trying to carry an umbrella when travelling in rainy season. Also, don’t let the weather put you off exploring! #PTTravel
