Q5: Have you ever reconnected with "long lost" relatives? Do you still keep in touch with relatives from the land of your ancestors? If so, how? #CultureTrav
A5: I haven't reconnected with "long lost" relatives per se, but I see family in Poland and from the Netherlands! Here a pic with my mom and Polish who recently visited NYC (and we explored Roosevelt Island)! #CultureTrav
replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O Quite certain. The grannie's oral history matched up to about 90% with Ancestry(dot)com. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A3: I never visited where my grandfathers grew up. I did with my grandmothers because my parents grew up where their respective mothers came from. My mam’s father came from Co. Cavan and my dad’s father came from Co. Longford. Both mothers came from Co. Limerick #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O I traced my history while visiting Poland with my mom two years ago, and I have a relation who has traced back generations. I'd love to do more of this type of travel. #CultureTrav
A4 I've found family photos I'd never seen before on other trees. I've also connected with DNA cousins who love the ancestor hunt as I do. Oh, and my Dad's 1st cousin who he'd lost 30 years ago! They were able to connect just before she passed away. #culturetrav
