A6 #Travel has changed my view of home, myself, and the world. It is why I travel. I prefer the word #adventure In fact, I believe that adventure is a form of meditation - Watch my explanation of why: https://t.co/RZZm9JWNxS #culturetrav

@travelcricket8 A4 Each time we visit @Montreal
I'm always amazed by the street art I discover, and the amazing friendly locals.

A4 you can have so much fun visiting cities in different ways.

A5: When conversations escalate, I fall back on my Midwestern roots and offer everybody something to eat! Differences don't seem as stark when you're sharing a table or deciding on a new restaurant, food truck or dessert spot to try. #culturetrav
A6 I think you can have multiple homes, if you're lucky enough to visit a place multiple times. I've grown up going to the @DelawareBeaches and they feel like home. Also, visiting my parents in Key Largo, that's become a home for me too. @VisitSouthDel #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A3: Def walking & in Amsterdam, I just got down at any tram stop & explored the area. I took 2 tours in Belgium & we hit the main points of those towns. #CultureTrav
replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A6. It’s changed my view in that I appreciate it a lot more. I’m so grateful that I have all the comforts I need without asking which is not the case with some of the places I visit whilst I’m away. #CultureTrav
A6. I've traveled my whole life so home was always where family was or familiarity. I don't have a hometown. I don't understand the fear of leaving a place you've been your whole life. You can make a place your home just from love alone. #culturetrav

A4: 1st trip 2 Ireland: Solo, 4 a West Cork writing workshop; 2nd: Small group tour of northern and northwest Ireland & Dublin for Bloomsday with hubby. Completely different--like yin v. yang, introvert v extrovert, poet v. journalist, writing/books v. music/theater. #CultureTrav

@Nicolette_O A6 Love coming home to beautiful British Columbia, yet the idea of creating a home away from home is always tempting it's hard to choose where when there are so many places to discover 🙂

A4. I had loved London as a child but when I went in after I graduated from uni and hated it. I returned and decided to discover my parents’ London and fell in love again #CultureTrav
replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O Yes! I've realized home is what you make of it, just like travel. I carry mine with me. #CultureTrav https://t.co/pFG8NxIqXy
A6: I have a bit of a gypsy soul, so I naturally feel at home wherever I am. It comes from our choice to embrace locals and make friends, and in turn, they treat us like family. Family is home. #culturetrav
