TL;DR: "Home" is wherever you find it.

replying to @BespokeTravels @BespokeTravels I think that's a normal part of the average traveler's evolution. I know I was always trying to maximize a few vacation days. #CultureTrav

yep, so lucky & we drive across the bridge 2-4 days a week -- it is the epicenter of the SF Bay Area -- never gets old. A friend of mine on the #GGBridge discovered the reemergence of porpoises after 60 year absence. #CultureTrav https://t.co/A8in1GazDZ

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot Nicely said! I have a tough time defining it, too. I've lived in a buncha places, and even now, it's tough to pin it down to one place. #CultureTrav

replying to @LixHewett @LixHewett It's not just you. I'll only visit somewhere with a good view of a city if I want to visit for another reason anyway. I have in the past sometimes followed advice on visiting view-only landmarks and been disappointed to find them very crowded and rather boring. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O But like, when I stayed in Tallinn, I got a Tallinn card for PR and my best friend (who lives there) and I planned a day of landmarks and even though I missed out on some stuff (walking on the city walls), I loved everything we did, and it was genuinely equitable. #culturetrav

replying to @BespokeTravels @BespokeTravels Oh hell no! Which is one of the values of these Twitterchats...inside scoop. Midtown is really just full of exhausted tourists bumping into one another and going into chain stores and restaurants found anywhere else BUT NYC. UGH. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O I mean, that's a factor, but I also mean that once you take a picture of a landscape, it's like. how else do I shoot this? It's not like I have a zoom lens. #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A6. It’s changed my view in that I appreciate it a lot more. I’m so grateful that I have all the comforts I need without asking which is not the case with some of the places I visit whilst I’m away. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A.6 it takes time and getting used to, probably a few travels to a particular place, but some places feel like a second home. #culturetrav

A6. I've traveled my whole life so home was always where family was or familiarity. I don't have a hometown. I don't understand the fear of leaving a place you've been your whole life. You can make a place your home just from love alone. #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A6. I've lived in a few different places & home will always be home, but I've been at my current location (Dublin) for over a year & it's becoming more like home everyday. Actually, I should say Europe is. I don't want to move back to North America anytime soon haha #CultureTrav

it does -- you can see the Marin Headlands on the other side of bridge. I used to walk my dog around that area #CultureTrav https://t.co/TTxVkyuHrI
