Unique Stays
CultureTrav

Q3: Do you prefer staying in hotels or do you like to seek out unique stays during travel? #CultureTrav

A3: Hotels CAN be unique. I choose based on needs, price, access. Sometimes they are part of workshop/small group tour. Also, friends/fam always good options. Here I am camping w friends in a fallow Oregon tulip field, path of totality for the 2017 solar eclipse #CultureTrav

A3 Since I’m traveling more than ever, price and location are more important than how unique my accommodation is. #culturetrav

A3 I like a mix of hotel and unique stays. Hotels are good when you're exhausted, need to do some work, or need a reliably hot shower. #culturetrav

#culturetrav A3: .... yes?
I mean I'm not that fussy. I'll stay in most places; I like choice! :) I do prefer something quirky and unique but hotels can be that! I've stayed in hotels in converted castles twice !

RT @travelcricket8: A3: Definitely unique places! #CultureTrav https://t.co/0goEEooYTr

A3: Depends on the place. Sometimes an area's hotels are cooler and sometimes, a unique BNB or something like a State Park cabin works best! @WVStateParks @WVtourism #LoadedAnswer #CultureTrav

A3: I prefer to stay at hostels, B&Bs, Air BnBs, apartments, and things like that for a more unique cultural travel experience #CultureTrav

replying to @travelcricket8 @travelcricket8 A3: Hotels are my sanctuary - I'm not there to have experiences. I'm there to unwind, be anonymous and be left alone. Hence why I don't like B&Bs etc so much. I holiday hard, so I need to have somewhere quiet and sanctuary-like -I find big hotels give me this ;-) #CultureTrav

replying to @travelcricket8 @travelcricket8 A3 - I love unique stays (can't say that I've ever stayed in any though, because they're always out of my budget). But give me a treehouse, or a yurt, or an igloo and I'm there! #CultureTrav

#culturetrav A3: my needs in accommodation are few. I basically need ... somewhere I can lie down comfortably.
Pretty much everything else is optional, though I do prefer some kind of roof and walls.

A3: We always prefer the unique stay. Many times, it yields a much more authentic, immersive experience. #culturetrav

RT @DoroLef: A3 I always search for owner run and eco-friendly hotels or guesthouses #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A3: Usually I like to stay in hotels, unless the place is known for its unique accomodation - like the Houseboats in Srinagar, Kashmir and the tents in Masai Mara, Kenya #CultureTrav https://t.co/lyhMoUwHDT

A3. It depends on where we are going. I check out hotels and airbnbs, but I really like unique or special historical places. #culturetrav
