Q4: Have you ever discovered a tradition while traveling that you incorporated in your daily life back home? If so, what is it? #CultureTrav

A4: No matter where I go, I keep a gratitude journal. I didn't discover this while traveling, but I like to reflect on my day and what I've learned/what went well/what could've gone better, and little things to be grateful for! #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4: I'm not sure if it counts as a tradition, but I've always wanted to make pho a breakfast food at home like it is in Vietnam. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4. Talismans to ward off the evil eye curse. I have one hanging above my door, one in my car, and gave many to friends when I returned from my trip.

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4. As a full time traveler, I'll answer the opposite way! 😊 Back home, my most consistent daily tradition was grinding my coffee beans in the morning and taking the time to make a cup of pourover coffee. On the road, I continue to carry on that daily tradition! #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4) Last year I tried to use brown sugar in my coffee like I had done in South Korea but the texture of sugar is different in the US. #CultureTrav

A4.) Yes, olive oil. On salads instead of salad dressing and for cooking pretty much anything. Learned that from being in Greece where the use a LOT of olive oil. And the people all live to be 100, so it's good for you! #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4: Eating wise I found myself quite liking the Spanish way out of eating in that a lighter breakfast, larger lunch, and a late dinner with possibly a light snack. I also find myself trying to find meat trays and samplers and make my own tapas 😂 #CultureTrav
