A1: At my friendās wedding in #Spain, we toasted with drinks from a flaming cauldron at midnight, to honor the brideās roots in #Galicia. It was pretty epic. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A3: Don't know the significance other than being partly Slovak, but on Christmas Eve we always do pierogi, kapustnica (sauerkraut soup), and some kind of fish. In Slovakia, they use carp, and keep the carp in their bathtub for the week leading up to Christmas. #CultureTrav

I come from a very untraditional family, my parents are hippies and my son is not that much younger than me, so I think our tradition is probably being untraditional! Which is likely what led me to live in an airstream and travel full time! āŗļø #CultureTrav
