replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A4. As a full time traveler, I'll answer the opposite way! 😊 Back home, my most consistent daily tradition was grinding my coffee beans in the morning and taking the time to make a cup of pourover coffee. On the road, I continue to carry on that daily tradition! #CultureTrav

replying to @travelcricket8 @travelcricket8 A1: In lots of Spain but particularly the bigger cities in the tapas bars in Madrid, it is considered a good thing and a sign that locals like the restaurant if there are napkins and toothpicks littered on ground. I was told that by a local and surprised! #CultureTrav

replying to @RachelTheRamblr @RachelTheRamblr @Nicolette_O @travelcricket8 It was until a few years ago, when Francis (maybe it was Benedict?) moved it to 10 p.m. at St. Peter's. The ol' Pontiff can't stay up that late, apparently. #CultureTrav

A5: In The Netherlands, I would argue that Sinterklaas (on Dec. 5) is a big part of the overall holiday season, while Christmas is still celebrated. There's been some controversy around St. Nicholas day. In Poland, Christmas Eve is particularly important. #CultureTrav
