A1: Slang says that language is always evolving and new words gain traction because people like them/use them more, and they catch on. Does everyone like slang? Doubtful, but it's popular! #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A1: It shows that despite all the rules we've imposed on language (which, as someone with an English degree I am very observant of), there really are no rules when it comes to how people speak. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A1: I love slang terminology. I think it reflects social and political trends. People rag on youngsters and their abbreviations / slang, but language is constantly evolving, so I see no issue with it. I choose full words and punctuation though ;-) #CultureTrav

A1 Hey #CultureTrav I'm flying from #Tampa to #Miami coming back from a cruise to #Havana #Cuba. I love playing w/words. With that said, slang is super powerful. It gives a different flavor to any phrase. Just look at how you intro this chat: LIT & DOPE. I'm hoping it is WICKED!
