Q5: Have you ever seen a movie in an unusual location (an outdoor screening, a drive-in, a festival?)? If not yet, would you like to? #CultureTrav
A5: I think the coolest one I've seen was watching Jaws while in a wave pool at a water park! It was quite unsettling though to be fully honest. #CultureTrav
A5: Outdoor movies at Hudson River Park in NYC! Bring your own snacks and picnic blanket and watch! I really want to see a movie at a drive-in! It looks really fun! #CultureTrav
replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5: I've been to a few drive-ins in my time. And my college used to do outdoor movies in the summer. That's about as unusual as it gets for me. #CultureTrav
replying to @travelcricket8 @travelcricket8 #culturetrav A5 sure, fun to see in a different location. Several movies in the parks around here. Once in NYC stumbled upon a classic movie night in one of the parks, that was a pleasant surprise.
replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5: Dresden had movies projected on a big white sheet on the Elbe river when I was living there back in 2014! Pretty cool to watch a movie outside on the river! #CultureTrav

A5 I saw American Grafitti in a beautiful theatre in Mexico City once. When the kid in the movie tries to pick up the girl by say "buenos noches", the whole audience broke up #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5 When I was young our town still had a drive-in (they used to be very common in the US back before I was born) and I went to it a lot. I have also been to outdoor screenings in a number of places; they seem fairly common in a number of countries in warm weather...? #CultureTrav
