A5: I think Barcelona. So much culture and beauty. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there! #CultureTrav

A5: Follow interests/passions. Plan ahead 2 make dreams happen. We saw Aug. 2017's total solar eclipse fm an Oregon tulip field; considering repeat: Patagonia, Chile, Dec. 2020. Also, stay/go w/ family/faraway friends as often as possible; life is short, love lasts. #CultureTrav

A5: Two adventures stand out: taking a hot air balloon ride (in Temecula, California), and going skydiving on Long Island, NY. Skydiving is extreme, and I have zero regrets about doing it! If you're up for it, go for it! If it's not for you, that's understandable! #CultureTrav

A5: We would say (definitely for Americans) a trip to #Cuba! It seems like a lot of people in the US are weary of travel to Cuba, but it is one of our favorite destinations. #culturetrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5. I really do think everyone should walk a long distance footpath, and if that sounds like your thing I can’t recommend Scotland’s West Highland Way highly enough. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5: Hiking the Inca Trail. It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done, but also maybe the most rewarding. Coming down from the sun gate and seeing Machu Picchu revealed beneath the clouds is something I can't even describe. #CultureTrav

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5) Long distance train travel, it doesn't have to be like my ride across Australia on the Indian-Pacific but it should be longer than a daily ride on a commuter train. #CultureTrav

A5 #culturetrav The cave of the crystal maiden in Belize - it's our most popular blog post and I have read about it in wanderlust but Belize is still too under rated and the cave is just the best experience EVER!

A5 I would suggest hiking to #ciudadperdida in #Colombia - it’s a 3 day trek along beautiful rivers with swimming pools and lush jungle. It was my #adventure when I turned 4-0. #culturetrav #travel

replying to @Nicolette_O @Nicolette_O A5. Honestly, just living tiny is an adventure on its own. 😂 it’s really made me realize the things that are most important and helped me shed the things I don’t really need. I think it’s something that would change you- in some way. #CultureTrav
