I definitely spend a lot of time researching places before I go. Not just with books but also blogs and asking people in twitter chats too. I think some of the best suggestions come from talking to people rather than books. #culturetrav

With many US jobs not having any paid leave at all, or very little, I've known so many people who had to wait till they retired to travel much and/or to travel any distance. #CultureTrav

A4: If I could live abroad for a few months, I'd choose Vancouver, Canada, in the summer. It's such a bikeable, walkable place, w great seafood and Asian cuisine & so far north, the sun doesn't set 'til 10 pm. I'd ferry back to Vancouver Island to explore more there. #CultureTrav
