Q7: Have you traveled any place that required vaccines? Where? Which ones? When you have traveled to places that recommend vaccines, do you get them or only the required ones? Why or Why not? #GenXTravel

A7: Yes, several countries--I think most were recommended, but required. I don't remember exactly. I have my Yellow Fever vaccine now for future countries that require it. I also got Typhoid, Polio, Hep A&B for a multi-country trip years ago. #GenXTravel

A7. I believe I have traveled to places that require Hep A and Hep B shots but I can't recall the specifics. Probably Egypt and South America. I'm not 100% sure because I had those done years ago for a job. I only get required vaccines. Cost and safety concerns. #GenXTravel

A7: I've taken malaria pills twice for trips--although I was only in affected regions maybe a day or two. Had I known that, I probably wouldn't have bothered. #GenXTravel

A7. We got the required vaccines for Ecuador, but I really don't think it wasn't necessary. We weren't going out into the Amazon. Oh, and Cuenca has the best and cleanest water in the country. We didn't have any problems. #genxtravel

A7: I chose to get recommended vaccines to not have to worry about health concerns and because they're good for a long time. #GenXTravel

A7: Thankfully not yet! I hate needles! I think I would only get the required ones in the future #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler A7 I just returned from vacation in Singapore, KL, and Bangkok and my doc recommended a HepA vaccine. I got it, to be safe. #GenXTravel

A7 I think vaccines were only recommended for places I've been. But I definitely got my fill of them before moving to China. #genxtravel
