replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii Looks and sounds like an amazing year indeed! #GenxTravel

replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler How did you go--land and/or cruise? Is that a train? #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler We had a great year for travel, starting Jan 1st on a beach in Kenya (photo below). Further destinations include #india #srilanka #azerbaijan #bahrain #dubai #newyork #greece...and more. #genxtravel

Q5. Did you travel anywhere you didn’t like or wouldn’t return? If so, where? Why? #GenXTravel

Q5: Did you travel anywhere you didn’t like or wouldn’t return? If so, where? Why? #GenXTravel

A5: I probably won't return to Lesotho or Swaziland, as I saw most everything I wanted to see in these small countries, and I have bad memories from Lesotho (ankle incident). #GenXTravel

A5. No. The only place I have ever traveled that I would not return to is Haiti. I had a bad experience there with the locals. #GenXTravel

A4. San Miguel de Allende didn't disappoint and continues to prove how magical Mexico is! #genxtravel

replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii I saw some Instagram posts of folks who went this year and remembered you were planning to go 😀 #GenXTravel

A4: it's hard to describe this place and a picture doesn't do it justice, but Hite, Arizona at sunset blew me away. #GenXTravel

A4: #Antarctica. It had been a lifelong dream to see the Emperor #Penguins that @QuarkExpeditionmade come true two weeks ago ! #adventuretravel #conservation #WildlifeWednesday #wildlifephotography #penguin #GenXTravel #travelblogger @CanonUSA @BBC_Travel

RT @GenXTraveler: Q5. Did you travel anywhere you didn’t like or wouldn’t return? If so, where? Why? #GenXTravel

replying to @FrankDiCesare @FrankDiCesare DC is very expensive. However, if you can stay with a friend, that greatly reduces the cost. Also, there are so many free things to do in DC. #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler A4: We’d love to return to Portugal and taste Port! #GenXTravel

replying to @TravelFuelsLife @TravelFuelsLife What part of AZ is Hite? I was just there for the first time in Oct. I was amazed by the landscape--esp. the red rocks around Sedona and the Painted Desert. And the Grand Canyon, of course. #GenXTravel

replying to @VoyagerVicki @VoyagerVicki @epic7travel @GenXTraveler People stay a month. Lol! But I think a week should be good coz the area is so vast. I rushed through the main temple complexes only. And Food and acco is inexpensive. #GenXTravel

replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii Wow so amazing with all the lanterns #GenXTravel

#GenXTravel A5) Fairbanks was just okay. But to be fair, we were only there for one day and we didn’t have a car

Q6: Who were your travel companions in 2018? Share a photo or give a shout out. #GenXTravel

replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler Wow stunning! Alaska is high on our wish list! #GenXTravel

Q6. Who were your travel companions in 2018? Share a photo or give a shout out. #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler #genxtravel A5: .... hmmmmmm. No i don't think so. Good question tho. There's very few places I've ever been that i don't want to visit again.

replying to @Pinkzenjoy @Pinkzenjoy @GenXTraveler Agree. The food is amazing! #GenXTravel

replying to @epic7travel @epic7travel @GenXTraveler I found Port went great with those tasty, addictive pasteis de nata/Belem. Probably best that I didn't spend more time there, as that was my daily treat. #GenXTravel

A5: also in Arizona. The Coronado Trail. Strip mining, too boring when cloudy and rainy, and 25 mph speed limit nonstop for 90 miles! Yuck. #GenXTravel

A5: Nope, it's pretty rare that I wouldn't like a place to never return there #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler A5 would love to return to all the places I visited this year. 😃 but there are a few that don’t interest me from previous visits. #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler Actually, my friend works in DC but lives in Virginia, which is a lot cheaper. We'll probably stay in Virginia and travel in and out of DC. #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler @wheresshellyii Europe is very small ... #GenXTravel

replying to @TravelFuelsLife @TravelFuelsLife Safe travels, my friend! See you Friday! #GenXtravel

replying to @wheresshellyii @wheresshellyii @GenXTraveler Visiting so many countries? Obvs ... #GenXTravel

replying to @GenXTraveler @GenXTraveler Haha I feel the same about travelling to the US. I’ve been twice but the flights and journey time was so painful that I’d rather explore near home. 😖 #GenXTravel
