A4: I think it comes from all over - often times a guy sees something he wants to do and then evangelizes the idea till someone else says yes. Other things have the momentum that they become the "annual golf trip". #GenXTravel

A5: Sadly no more, as we've all moved away. There are wineries in FL, but seem to be sweet/fruity wines + not many drinking friends here. #GenXTravel

A5: Personally, I'm blessed - I get to run #MenWhoBlog "Blogger Mancations" 3-4 times per year but for most guys it is an annual trip or every couple years. Two guys I met in Baja last year saved 3 years to do the trip together. #GenXTravel

A6: One thing that's really hot is Father Son trips and Inter-Generational Travel. Guys need mentors and a time where they can learn skills, discuss challenges and bond with other men. #GenXTravel

A8. I have done #GirlsGetaways that were a couple hours drive as well as ones that were halfway around the globe. It depends on who I'm travelling with and how much time we have, I suppose. #GenXTravel

A8: a VERY popular type of trip is a meet up with college buddies - so for instance see an "away game" where a bunch of Red Sox fans travel to Chicago to see the game. Most people probably drive since it's cheaper but the point is to go somewhere beyond normal life #GenXTravel

A9. Most of mine have been about R and R and fun but I have also been on women's retreats that were more focused on self-improvement. #GenXTravel

A9: Lots of different objectives but generally not rest and relaxation - it's to blow off steam, get out of the ordinary do stuff you don't do with your family and try new things, be someone new for a few days and just have fun building bonds with male friends. #GenXTravel
