A2. And this is why my husband couldn't do it. Too much stuff. I don't require much. I think I might be able to go minimal and live the #VanLife or at least live in a #tinyhouse. #GenXTravel

A2: After moving across country twice, I'm basically a pro at trimming down my belongings. Once you get to your clothes and realize you don't have room for EVERY occasion it can be tough! If you were to ask my partner he'd say I could use some help 😂 #Vanlife #GenXTravel

#GenXTravel A2: I used to move a lot when I was younger. I optimized my belongings. And now when I travel, I travel with a single bag.
I think this part of #VanLife would be the easy part for me.

A3: We were renting an apartment so we sold all of our stuff and finished up our lease! Our only home is our van! #vanlife #GenXTravel

#GenXTravel A3: This is a great question. It's the same as when I consider a #digitalnomad lifestyle. A home is a good investment. But it also needs to be cared for. This will be an interesting bridge I might have to cross.

#GenXTravel A3) Since we don’t have a mortgage, I think I would keep our house as a home base. Maybe stay at home base during the summer and #vanlife to warm weather in the winter ❄️

A4. I think I may consider opening it to pet-sitters. That would allow someone else to travel and have my dogs cared for while away. They are too big for #VanLife. That would save $$, too. #GenXTravel

A4: I'm gun shy on renting out my home. I rented it out and it was trashed (that was a long term rental agreement) and I had a property management firm. I'm still recovering from it. I love my home too much to rent it out. It would stay empty. #GenXTravel #vanlife
