Q2: How far would you travel during a long weekend and why? #InspireToWander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A2: Long weekends are good times for our family to go farther than we'd go on a regular weekend. So if there's somewhere farther we want to visit, that's often when we'll do it. #InspireToWander

A2: I'll normally keep travel time to a few hours to ensure I can make the most of the weekend but I'm happy to do that via car, train, bus or flying! #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: I would travel, and have traveled, across the country for a weekend. I'm pro at getting the most done with 24-48 hours somewhere. #InspireToWander

A2: If it's just the long weekend and no additional days, we usually stay in the #USA. But, there's still a ton of great options when doing so #inspiretowander

A2: I would drive no further than 7ish hours. Ideally 3 hours or less. I don't want to spend the whole trip in the car. #InspireToWander

A2 I'd normally say less than 4 hours driving, but we did make the 9-hour trip to the Smokies for Memorial Day to use up miles on my lease that was about to end lol. #InspireToWander

A2 #InspireToWander I don’t trust my fellow motorists on holiday weekends, so if I do go somewhere, it’s a day trip typically less than 100 miles. I might go to the ocean or Portland which are about an hour away. I might also take the train to Seattle for baseball for the day.

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: I might do a 5-6 hour drive or maybe a short 2-3 hour flight! #InspireToWander

A2) We'll travel as far as we can if it's fun and worth it (usually on points) We've occasionally gone across the continent on a long weekend! #InspireToWander #Seattle #travel

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: We'd usually do somewhere not too far - maybe take a train to visit my family down in Somerset, or a short flight to somewhere in Europe. Luckily we're really close to Gatwick so we've got lots of choice! Last year we did Amsterdam and Dublin. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: If it's a three-day weekend, our family would probably travel up to six hours from home (by car). We're taking some extra days around a weekend later in the year, and we'll be 12 hours from home then. #InspireToWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2 #InspireToWander if I am pulling our trailer we like to stay within a 2h drive from home. Mostly enjoy the family friendly @KOAKampgrounds like the one at #CardinalKOA for long weekend fun!

A2. Depends. If staying local, I'd probably just do day trips to a town I want to explore or see family. If I'm taking advantage of the time and having a long vacay, I'll go further! Europe, Hawaii. wherever! #InspireToWander https://t.co/qeRaIWE9bf

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: I try not have to travel too far, I'd prefer not spend more time travelling than actually at the destination! Unless the travel is the actual holiday ☺ #InspireToWander

A2 I love red eye flights. They are the best time saver. They also don’t limit where i go over long weekends. I can do as far as 11 hour flights but not more than that for a long weekend. #InspireToWander
