replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: Once I have my days off in mind, I book the hotels first as they can be cancelled for no charge later if needed.
Step 2 is the flights
Step 3 is to adjust the hotel dates as needed

A3. I'm a very organized person, so I plan trips months in advance, but actually booking everything depends on cost of flights #InspireToWander @inspiretowander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: As much as I’d like to sound organized, our first thing is usually tondebate locations for weeks, decide on 1 or 2 and then Day dream for a few solid weeks. Followed by transportation booking and hotel. Hubby likes to have essentials done! #InspireToWander

replying to @OffTrackTravel @OffTrackTravel @JustinLaurenXO Vancouver is pretty decent indeed, both in terms of prices and customs clearance time. Also connectivity (and $) to/fro the city. I find Calgary OK as well. Toronto's prices are sometimes so inflated I'm VERY tempted to go to Buffalo esp. for N.American flights. #InspireToWander

A4 #inspiretowander I try to start booking 3 to 4 months in advance. Everyone says you should book air fares about 3 months before. Sometimes as in the case of Sydney NYE, you should book certain things like hotels even earlier. I use air fare apps to tell me when to book that

A3: We tend to like to plan in advance (6-8 months out) so we can make sure we have plenty of funds budgeted and get everything planned out (again, #oneofusistypeA) but we have been known to go short notice to take advantage of a deal! #InspiretoWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A3 way in advance! 😅 Even if it's close to home, I like to plan everything in advance. If I'm going to Europe, I like to plan at least 6 months before! Although the last trip I only planned it 3 weeks before #InspireToWander
