replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW Agreed. Looking at maps are dangerous. lol. #inspiretowander
replying to @PassportDorks @PassportDorks I'm all about the shoulder seasons & off seasons. I rarely travel anywhere far in July and August typically! But I'm all about the May/June September/October trip. #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @IBBtravel Happy New Year, Lauren. :) #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @inspiretowander We occasionally have "travel convos" to prioritize which places are higher up on the list than others and then use that info when we see deals on @scottsflights, etc! #InspiretoWander
RT @JustinLaurenXO: Q1: With so many possible destinations, how do you choose where to go? #InspireToWander
replying to @OffTrackTravel @OffTrackTravel @BShave78 @inspiretowander @JustinLaurenXO @IBBtravel Yay for fellow travel blogger friends. #inspiretowander
replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW Sometimes I just look around on Google Maps at what's out there and it inspires me! #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @IBBtravel That was the case with Singapore. Air fares were so low, how could I not go. #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO With Becca being a tour guide, we often travel at slow times for her, which means we are out and about a lot in January/February and September/October! #InspiretoWander
Q2: What do you plan first when organizing a trip? Sightseeing, food, transportation or something else? #InspireToWander
Q2: What do you plan first when organizing a trip? Sightseeing, food, transportation or something else? #InspireToWander
A2. I plan my budget first and then all the rest such as sightseeing and transportation #InspireToWander @inspiretowander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: For me it depends mainly on award availability with miles and points or if there are some dirt cheap air fares/deals #InspireToWander

replying to @AvrexTravel @AvrexTravel I used to work in a library as a teenager and spent so much of my time in the travel section! It definitely influenced my round the world trip at 18. #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2. I think most Torontonians can agree that the Pearson Airport isn't exactly the most price-friendly airport in šØš¦. I often choose based on flight sales and actually flight times. AM flights usually means hell at customs. I prefer flying out at night! #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2. When planning a trip, the first thing I determine is what I want to see. I estimate the amount of time it will take to view those sites. Based on time and location, I'll then think about booking flights and accommodation. #InspireToWander
A2: Transportation and hotels are my first ideas for Australia this year, then plan from that #InspireToWander
replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel You are the queen of deals! Along with @JustinLaurenXO because didn't you get an awesome deal to NZ?! #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A1) I usually look at a mixture of things because it is an ever growing list: relative affordability, currency stability because exchange rates can be killer, and for me I base it a lot on the history of location as I love to delve in and learn more firsthand. #InspireToWander
replying to @OffTrackTravel @OffTrackTravel @BShave78 @inspiretowander @IBBtravel YAY blogger buddies! #InspireToWander
A1 we make lists and pros and cons. Take turns if there is something the other one really wants to do/see. Check cheap flights, hotel deals. We have also been known to put names in a hat. #InspiretoWander https://t.co/nRJUVR0opP
A2: Our first steps - pick up some travel guides (partial to @lonelyplanet), reach out to our best traveled friends for advice, and then start a daily itinerary, to piece together the trip! #InspiretoWander #oneofusistypeA

A2: Normally transportation, then I look into where I want to go & things I want to see, then plan accommodation & finding yummy eats close by! #InspireToWander
replying to @takemomalong @takemomalong I like flying in the afternoon and evening, too. The airport is so much calmer! Plus waking up early is the worst. #InspireToWander
A1: I have a bucket list of places to go and things I want to see. If I can, I try to plan my route to allow for those. But I enjoy going off the path & just letting the journey take me where it will. #InspireToWander https://t.co/KN0vReNoE8
replying to @PassportDorks A2: We usually tend to block out the big pieces of the trip (getting there, staying there, any transportation needs) and then start looking at experiences, excursions, and tours to make the trip awesome. And of course - what we're going to eat! #InspiretoWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: I'm primarily interested in nature, hiking, UNESCO sites, and museums, so I focus on those first. I also focus on countries from which I have ancestry. From there, I prioritize based on the feasibility of timing and pricing. #InspireToWander
replying to @OffTrackTravel @OffTrackTravel @JustinLaurenXO Hahaha I do my best! #InspireToWander
Iāll research to see what transportation options are available. Iāll reserve hotels in advance & Iāll see what attractions are in the area & allow time to see them. A2 #inspiretowander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2: International trips, definitely flights. Domestic we are driving our van so plans usually revolve around the best time/dates for big hikes and paddling trips! #inspiretowander
A2: It used to be lodging like hotels or @Airbnb. Now with the camper, I'm looking for boondocking, campgrounds or RV parks with an open space & a good price. #InspireToWander https://t.co/DADx7HVlyw
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: I usually plan out generally where I'd like to visit, decide how many days and how I'm getting from point A to point B.#InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2) I start with the transportation and lodging first. Being familiar with modes of transportation from an airport is helpful especially if language is barrier. With sightseeing - I try to do a mixture if natural exploration and big sights landmark wise. #InspiretoWander
