replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: The lost city of #Pompeii - just outside of #Naples in Italy. It’s ruins are well-preserved due to the ash and lava from Mount Vesuvius erupting in 79AD. So old. So fascinating. #InspireToWander

A1) The last historic site we visited was Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida. It predates the Civil War and preserves a hard, fascinating history; it’s juxtaposed against the slack and stunning turquoise of the Gulf of Mexico #InspireToWander #NationalParks

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A1: Shakespeare's Birthplace. Aside from the house (which is pretty cramped even without the huge tourist crowds), there's also a museum and a bookstore that sells special editions of all his works. I couldn't buy all of them, so I settled with my fave: Hamlet.#InspireToWander
