replying to @travelswithcrew @travelswithcrew @inspiretowander I agree! I hated Brussels. #InspiretoWander

replying to @cairochris @cairochris @inspiretowander @BRVB_NHS Yes, not a reconstruction. It's the actual place. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander My classmates and I took the guided tour of the @TowerOfLondon which I really enjoyed. The advantage was that we learned a lot, the disadvantage was that we had to go where our guide took us. #InspiretoWander

replying to @herlifeinruins @herlifeinruins @JustinLaurenXO Ah yes that would be disappointing 🙉 #InspiretoWander

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @Fit_life360 @inspiretowander 2nd floor! AND you'd better watch it - cats have 9 lives and they'll spend the next 8 of them knocking over ALL your coffee! #InspireToWander

#inspiretowander A 10) The site wasn't any less amazing, but The Statue of Liberty was crazy, insanely, crowded

replying to @ABananaRambling @ABananaRambling @inspiretowander Being Canadian I don't get the discount. but do get to order pomme du frites #inspiretowander

replying to @Polymathically @Polymathically @JustinLaurenXO Agreed. Stonehenge was sort of lame. You can’t get near it, and you just peer at it from far away. Super disappointing. #InspireToWander

replying to @ParksandPoints @ParksandPoints @TNVacation For the last couple of years I have been trying to find and document these sites. They are all independently owned and operated so it's been difficult. #InspireToWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A10. I never have any expectations! 😊 #InspiretoWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A10: I wish I could think of one. I read as much as I can about a place and usually I have a respect or appreciation for it! #inspiretowander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A9: The caves in Maastricht, the windmills in Kinderdijk, Haus de Musik in Vienna. Can you tell I’m a history nerd. #Inspiretowander

replying to @MeToddScott @MeToddScott @inspiretowander We should create a commemorative plaque for that occasion! 🤣🤣#InspireToWander

replying to @byland_and_sea @byland_and_sea Same! We were there just last summer. I actually found Herculaneum a lot more interesting #InspiretoWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander BONUS A: man made! I always love seeing how people in different areas come up with different ways of building things! #InspireToWander

replying to @MattsRoadTrip @MattsRoadTrip @JustinLaurenXO Wow! Just wow! My mouth is hanging open at these gorgeous pictures #inspiretowander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @Fit_life360 @inspiretowander Sheesh. Tell me about it. Why do you think I don't like cats haha? #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A10. The Gold Museum in Bogota. Everyone kept talking it up and I felt nothing. Then in Cartagena there was another gold museum and Mr ABananaRambling insisted on going even though I kept telling him we would regret it and YUP it was even worse. #InspireToWander

RT @inspiretowander: Q10: Are there any historic sites that you visited that didn’t quite live up to your expectations? #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A10: I honestly can't think of one! #InspireToWander

RT @JustinLaurenXO: Historical reenactments are a great way to experience what it would have been like! #InspireToWander https://t.co/PLXo3…

replying to @rebeccajuliet30 @rebeccajuliet30 @Polymathically @JustinLaurenXO I heard that about Stonehendge so I skipped it! Glad I did. I heard the same thing about the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Have you all been? #inspiretowander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A10 Not yet, but I’m sure it will be in future 😂😂 #InspiretoWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A5: Definently Jordan. So much has happened here both religiously and culturally. Here, the Hand of Hercules is displayed within ruins from the Temple of Hercules, constructed during the Romanoccupation in Amman. #InspireToWander

RT @inspiretowander: BONUS: Natural or man made wonders? Which is your favorite? #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander BONUS: I can't choose! Both are amazing. What's even cooler is when it's a man made thing on a natural wonder. BOTH #InspireToWander

replying to @amaixico @amaixico @inspiretowander Absolutely agree #InspiretoWander

replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler So many places seem to go this way. Too many people make it less enjoyable 😞 #InspiretoWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A8) One thing I thought of especislly for museum aficionados - @HeardMuseum is important and essential for anyone not familiar with Native American history in US. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6: Sometimes we do sometimes we don’t, I will say we learn the most when we do book one. #InspiretoWander
replying to @shawnmanogue @shawnmanogue @byland_and_sea @AcadiaNPS Got any others? #InspireToWander

replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @Fit_life360 @inspiretowander Maybe you should ask yourself what you've done to cats to deserve it! #InspireToWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO
@JustinLaurenXO @inspiretowander My mother would think it is a lie or revisionist history where it actually fell down into place during an earth quake.
and the girlfriend who witnessed this historic event is not talking to me now ;) #badbreakup #inspiretowander

replying to @obligatraveler @obligatraveler When I visited in high school me and a couple other friends missed the boat and got stuck at the statue for about an hour while everyone else had to sit on the bus and wait for us haha. #InspireToWander

A10) I've been to the Vatican twice. Once in march, once in June which was way too crowded. I preferred the March trip which was less crowded. #InspireToWander
