A2 Yes! I love them. I was always a history nerd in school and even intended to be a history teacher before I realized that it wasn't how I wanted to spend my days. History is just so fascinating. #InspireToWander

Aside from the house (which is pretty cramped even without the huge tourist crowds), there's also a museum and a bookstore that sells special editions of all his works. @inspiretowander A1: the last historical site I was at was driving by the Lower Fort Gary on my way to the house.
It is a fur trading post that was the center of commerce in Manitoba when the settler were coming in after the upper fort was flooded out. #inspiretowander

A2: Yes! If we are in a place with some great historic sites, we make it a point to stop by and check them out! I definitely appreciate history in our travels more as I get older. #inspiretowander
