A3 #InspireToWander One that comes to mind was Charleston, WV about 20 years ago. A rundown Best Western outskirts of town in an industrial area. There was a big spider web in the corner on the ceiling. That part of the country is depressing enough without a place like that.

A3 It was a US hostel. Two bunk beds in a large room. The three other guys had been living there for months. I couldn't see the floor because of all their crap. Playboy pinups on the walls. Two of them snored all night. Never again. #inspiretowander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A3: A lot of hotels were booked where I went so I stayed at a not-so-great hotel chain. Left an empty drink packet out while I went out for a couple of hours. Came back and had ants all over the packet and the room. Even noticed them on my luggage at the airport #InspiretoWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A3.I stayed in a homestay in Cambodia. It was VERY basic. I struggled with it, especially the "rest room" but I valued the experience and am pleased I did it. Would I do it Again? No. #InspireToWander

A3 #InspireToWander @inspiretowander @JustinLaurenXO the worst experiences we have endured in hotels/motels are dirty sheets, disgusting bathtubs where we had to wear our flip flops, food and condoms under the bed and loud noises 🙁

In early spring. It was still icy there. Thankfully, I brought my own thick tartan throw for warmth. #inspiretowander

A3: I haven't had too many terrible ones thank goodness, but my worst was a super sketchy hotel in Montreal. a few too many weird noises coming down the hall & a hole in the wall freaked me out real good LOL #InspireToWander
