A9) Honestly, for all the trouble, a redeye flight is a good way to save money on a hotel room. We've been able to get a full day of exploring and then head to the airport to fly home, sometimes taking the subway into work Monday from the airport. #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9. I’ve slept in a train station, an airport and on a FlixBus and it’s always miserable but it’s a way to save money. I made sure I had my money belt under my shirt and my backpack is locked and I used my backpack as my pillow haha #InspireToWander
A9: We are taking a sleeper train to #Scotland this year! Super excited to try it out! #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9. As I said before, I am bad saving money hahaha. So sleeping in the airport wasn't an idea. I also have to add that I was living in the center in Barcelona, so is easy just to take a taxi and be there, doesn't matter the time. #InspireToWander
A9 #InspireToWander I have slept overnight on @Amtrak more than once. Nothing outside the US. As far as airports, I stayed at @ChangiAirport, but inside the hotels they have.
A9: No way - call it cliche but I need my beauty sleep. If I don't I'm a serious b!tch. Just ask my better half LOL #InspireToWander
replying to @ParksandPoints @ParksandPoints A9) We love RedEye flights, because it gives one more time to explore a destination! #InspireToWander
replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel @inspiretowander A9: In college! I was flying home from Spain and didn’t want to spend $$$ on a hotel, so slept with all of my stuff outside of security. This was literally 6 months after 9/11, and it was a little nerve wracking. #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9: Overnight trains are a great way to be efficient with your time while saving money on accommodations. But reserve a sleeper car. I spent 14 hours in a basic train car from Interlaken to Berlin overnight. No sleep & so cramped. Lesson learned for next time! #InspireToWander
A9 Uhm, I built a camper van. I've driven 3-month road trips where I exclusively slept in the van. Saved a TON of money doing that. #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO A9: I've tried sleeping at an airport. Someone walked up to where I was laying and sat down and commented loudly to their friend, "WOW SLEEPING AT AN AIRPORT, I CAN NEVER DO THAT" and it woke me up #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9 No. We prefer our own space #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @RoadTripsCoffee A9. Not me, but my adult kids have definitely spent the night in the airport to save $. #InspireToWander
This overnight train looks pretty comfy! Have you ever tried one before? #InspireToWander https://t.co/dN0iLq2Za9

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9 #inspiretowander I've done both numerous times. But the last time I slept at an airport was because of Visa issues in transit. In Kazakhstan my wife needed a Visa to leave the airport but I didn't. So, we both stayed in the transit area for an uncomfortable 26 hours.

@JustinLaurenXO A9: I've had no option but to sleep in an airport a couple of times. Not fun. I'm cheap, but I wouldn't resort to that to save money.

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9) We do lot of camping, because we love it and for the scenery and ambiance, but also to cut costs on road trips. #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9 #InspireToWander overnight trains (lots, I love them), sleeping on a bus station (I was younger then), overnight buses ( not my favourite but they’re amazing in Peru!)
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A9: We often join in on the airport camps, but we often sleep on overnight busses too ... Sometimes back pain is worth saving some dollars on accommodation 😅 #InspireToWander
