RT @inspiretowander: Q1: Do you prefer to travel in the shoulder seasons? Why or why not? #InspireToWander
replying to @RoadTripsCoffee @RoadTripsCoffee @JustinLaurenXO You must not have worked too hard on #AfterParkChat. The hashtag has now been tweeted exactly twice. #ParkChat #InspiretoWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A8: CANADA! I'm biased. Surprised? Seriously though, the weather is still usually great & there's so much to do! #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A8: Hawaii is spectacular year-round, so plan around the crowds. https://t.co/9Nag7eZ3hN #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander I’m always late to the party because it’s my kids’ bedtime and I snuggle with each of them but I cannot wait! We do almost all of our travel in the off season! #inspiretowander
A8: No place specific, but we recommend making sure places are still open during the shoulder season. We’ve gone on trips where everything shut down in the off-season and it wasn’t nearly as fun as it could’ve been! #inspiretowander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A7) The last few times we were at Rocky Mountain NP it was shoulder season, it's actually been quite a while since we've been there in the summer peak. We'd love to revisit soon! #InspireToWander
A8 The @GreatSmokyNPS. August is a bit crazy but October is total mayhem. September is the sweet spot in the "shoulder season" where you can actually enjoy the experience in the most-visited #naitonalpark. #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A8: Anywhere that is popular with school-age children and families. Theme parks, beaches, popular hiking routes. I cities to be the same in peak or non-peak seasons. Always pockets to explore to avoid the crowd, and usually more accommodation options! #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @RoadTripsCoffee @ParksandPoints @IBBtravel Lies! She speaks lies! We are the true North in winnipeg and to become a man you must wrestle a polar bear until it submits to your will and a life of servitude. Or it eats you. #InspireToWander #talltales
replying to @TheOmegaDork @TheOmegaDork Love the Caribbean in fall thought I was the only one #InspireToWander

replying to @MattsRoadTrip @MattsRoadTrip @JustinLaurenXO @RoadtripC @rscottjones @atlaspacks Nice! Take a pic and post it! #InspireToWander
replying to @travelpantspair @travelpantspair It wasn't very crowded at all! There were people but I wouldn't say crowds. I went to Berlin & Bamberg in 2017, and Frankfurt / Tubingen / Heidelberg in 2018. #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A.7 Any large cities or destinations where you may be crowded. You will have more time without waiting in line, and less people to contend with #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @Polymathically Nice! We’ll be there two weeks after you! #InspireToWander
Q9: What are some lesser visited places that you highly recommend checking out during shoulder seasons? #InspireToWander

Q9: What are some lesser visited places that you highly recommend checking out during shoulder seasons? #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A3. Travel’s quieter and cheaper in the shoulder season, and time to just right and you can still enjoy the last remnants of either winter or summer. #InspireToWander
A7: During peak time? ...No. I would like to see the Jardim botanical gardens in Lisbon when they're in full bloom. Same with botanical gardens in Florence.
#InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: Yes! Always, it’s so much cheaper! #InspiretoWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @travelpantspair Niiiice. What's on the itinerary? #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander
@inspiretowander A8: Italy, Italy, Italy! The shoulder season is so lovely there. I don’t think I will ever experience the high season in Italy. Spring and fall is where it’s at!
#InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A8. London, it’s always going to be busy but when I went in October the lines were more manageable. The weather was decent also! #InspireToWander
replying to @travelpantspair @travelpantspair @JustinLaurenXO It was BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeously warm during the day but still cool at night. Visited Frankfurt, Winningen, Rüdesheim, Nurnberg, Dresden & Berlin. It wasn't too busy either which was fantastic! #InspireToWander

replying to @theanchoredblog @theanchoredblog @inspiretowander This is so true! Except when it’s 110 and no ac, you can only take off so much 😂. #InspireToWander
A8 #InspireToWander @inspiretowander @JustinLaurenXO popular @ParksCanada sites are less crowded during the shoulder season and you can also take advantage of the many comfy and unique accommodation offers!
A8: I guess I'd recommend anything on the Iberian Peninsula in January through March (watch out for the festival week leading up to lent). The temperatures aren't too high and there's a ton of great stuff to do.
#InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO @59NationalParks Sigh. Leave it up to Lauren to publicly announce exactly what we do with #AfterParkChat. Why don't you just go ahead and give everyone my grandma's recipe for chocolate chip cookies and the secret ingredients for @drpepper? #InspiretoWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A4. Nothing would ever deter me from travel, but I have noticed is that you’re much more likely to run into scaffolding, road works and reduced services. #InspireToWander
replying to @Polymathically @Polymathically @travelpantspair Big road trip! Going to Glasgow, then visit my family in Stirling, then Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Inverness, Cairngorms, Aberdeen, Edinburgh. Sooo excited! #InspireToWander
