Rainy Day #Travel
InspireToWander

A3) Escaping terrible weather, we love to find and stay in visitor centers at parks! (so many cool and odd films to watch...sometimes with mannequins!) #InspireToWander

A3. Yes, rain usually means we focus our efforts on foodie travels. Indoor markets like #chelseamarket provide good opportunities #InspireToWander

A4: In January when we went to @VisitAustinTX! It poured the whole time and was cold! But, we toughed it out in line for 2.5 hours for the legendary @FranklinBbq #InspireToWander

replying to @travelpantspair @travelpantspair @inspiretowander Oh that’s a great way to spend a rainy travel day! #inspiretowander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A4: it PISSED rain on our honeymoon and we were in Denver. Had to find a restaurant to eat in because we weren’t going anywhere for a while! We did get a beautiful rainbow, though! #InspireToWander

A3 During terrible weather while travelling, we head to art galleries and pubs. #InspireToWander #travel #art

#inspiretowander A 4) Probably Denver at Red Rocks when we got caught in a Flash Flood. We ended up just embracing the chaos

A4 I was supposed to have one more full day to explore #history at @GettysburgNMP last September, but it decided to rain instead. I just decided to leave a day early and continue my road trip to New York. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A4: It poured every day of my friend’s beach bachelorette party ... so we moved the beach party indoors - floaties and all ☔️ #InspireToWander

A4 #inspiretowander Ljubljana, Slovenia, I went out that morning to see the castle. I took the tram to the top of the hill, came out & heard the first crack of thunder. It was thunderstorms most of the rest of the day. I took pictures around the lightning.

A5: I guess this counts as weather, but when I lived in Alberta, there was a bad wildfire not too far away. It made for really smoky days, brown sun and ash on my car. Luckily, the rain helped put it out. #InspireToWander

@inspiretowander A3- Cafe. Can jump in to get warm drink and warm up a bit. Very typical if on free walking tour in cold climate.
Vilnius, Lithuania

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A5: Thunder snow by far! Exactly what it sounds like: Craziest downpour of snow accompanied by thunder and a lightning bolt or two. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A5: it rained so hard over us in Idaho that we got hail. But it was only over where we were. It was like nothing happened once we got out of its warpath. 🤷🏻♀️ #InspireToWander

A4- My last trip to London we got caught in a couple of downpours, but on some level you kind of expect it #InspireToWander #travelingsession

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander Sandstorms! I’ve never experienced them until this past year. First on the Trans-Siberian train crossing Mongolia, and second in the Atacama Desert in Chile. Both were so epic and other-worldly! #InspireToWander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A6) The airport lounge. Nothing else compares (accept no substitutes) #InspireToWander
