@JustinLaurenXO A4 Was doing a multi day solo hike in October. got a late start and ran 8 km to set up camp before I lost all light in an hour.
put my food in a tree and went to sleep.

RT @inspiretowander: Q6: Is there a hike out there that you know you’ll never do? Where is it and why? #InspireToWander
replying to @MandyMPower @MandyMPower @inspiretowander I’ve done this walk before with a local farmer. It took 3 hours from Doolin to the Cliffs and it was so worth it. Especially because we were walking on the very edge of the cliffs #inspiretowander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6: Everest (probably) (almost sure I won’t do it) #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6: hmm I'm not sure! I would probably attempt it if it got in my head to do it, if that makes sense! #InspireToWander
replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A5: Snow, a bunch of times. One of the most challenging hikes that springs to mind though was in Manning Park, BC, one year. It was early September yet -10c overnight and around 3/4c during the day. Caught us both by surprise #InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6: I think it's the Stairway to Heaven in Hawaii? The one with the super rickety stairs that's totally closed but people still do? Yeah. Hell no. I'd definitely die 10 steps in. #InspireToWander
A6: I read an inspiring book by someone who hiked Mt Everett. Afterward, I was like “I’m totally doing that!”
After looking into how much they train, I am totally NOT doing that haha. #InspireToWander
replying to @KaraDiDomizio @KaraDiDomizio @inspiretowander @OffTrackTravel Thanks Kara! It’s a beautiful place #inspiretowander

@inspiretowander A4: Hiked the Iceline Trail in Yoho National Park which was a full day hike and forgot to bring our food. Luckily hubby had some snack bars stashed in his backpack years ago. Best meal ever!😄

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: The Tiger's Nest hike in Bhutan. It's not the grandest or most dangerous, but it's in such a far off and secluded place. Even getting to the trail would be an adventure in itself. Same goes with a few hikes in Nepal. #InspireToWander
replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO Truly an inspired name. I'm just happy my Province is named first. Ontoba just doesn't sound right. It is like an Oboe and a Tuba had a baby. #inspiretowander
replying to @AngelaMDiLoreto @AngelaMDiLoreto @inspiretowander Haha I feel you! While I'm sure it would be a fabulous adventure, I have no desire to do it really. Many other great hikes close to home! #InspireToWander
replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel @JustinLaurenXO @inspiretowander Get super, super light ones. I use Black Diamond Distance Z. They weigh almost nothing and I hardly ever think about them. The regular kind? Eugh. #InspireToWander
replying to @mfoleypdx @mfoleypdx @AngelaMDiLoreto It was May, so there were a ton of waterfalls. We also did Trümmelbach Falls, a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain. #InspireToWander
replying to @OffTrackTravel @OffTrackTravel BRR that sounds super chilly! Snuggles for warmth, 100% haha! #InspireToWander

replying to @MeToddScott @MeToddScott @JustinLaurenXO what happened next?! #InspireToWander
replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A6. Mount Everest. As much as I’d love to, there’s too much training and time needed to prepare for it. Maybe base camp one day?… #inspiretowander
replying to @thewandererblog @thewandererblog @inspiretowander I would highly recommend under different circumstances - like being aware it would take 3 hours and not being hungry. 🤣#InspireToWander
replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2: Machu Pichu and Tikal are spectcular. https://t.co/orViDx3jp6 #InspireToWander

@JustinLaurenXO A5 I walked to school everyday as a kid in Manitoba. I think that counts. lol
Though hiking in BC in the rainforest I got so wet my underwear took like a week to dry. #inspiretowander
replying to @AngelaMDiLoreto
@AngelaMDiLoreto @inspiretowander Agreed. Would love to see Everest, but I have no desire to go beyond base camp.

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A5) First day we hiked the Lost Coast Trail in CA a pretty wicked storm blew in, strong winds and heavy rain, fortunately we reached the defunct Punta Gorda Lighthouse and bivvied in an old outbuilding. Restless night! But next morning dawned calm. #InspireToWander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A6: West Coast Trail. Expensive, you have to reserve months in advance and it's full of ladders. No thank you. There are so many amazing alternatives elsewhere in British Columbia! (if you're curious, visit https://t.co/fG9Bj41CE8) #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A3: Yeah, I used to go camping all the time in California throughout my Scouting years. A week or two in the mountains was great. #InspireToWander
A1: Definitely the trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in Nepal! We love that the route passes through Namche Bazaar, Sherpa villages and several Buddhist monasteries along the way. Also, the scenery is apparently out of this world. #InspireToWander
