Q6: Things don’t always go smoothly. Tell us about a disastrous moment from a past road trip and how you overcame any “bumps on the road”. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6; I once had my alternator die on a road trip. A cop came along and helped! My girlfriends and I sat in the back of a cop car while we waited for the tow ;) Then the cop took us to his mechanic plus dropped us at a place for lunch! My car got fixed, too! #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander @LMoralesPhoto A6: Fortunately, haven’t had any disastrous moment yet, *knock on wood* Bad weather can be quite annoying on a road trip, but usually we take the opportunity to visit a cafe or restaurant! But when we are in the middle of desert? Drive on. #InspireToWander

A6 #InspireToWander Probably this last one when I had issues with the rental car, but was able to find an office & get another. Then my virus at the end, fortunately I didn’t have to drive the last 100 miles & slept it off.

We had a literal bump on the road on a camping trip one time. Our camping trailer tire blew out. We sat on the side of the road but were fortunate to have a tire guy come rescue us. Our hero! A6 #inspiretowander

A6: The worst I’ve experienced is pretty awful traffic and standstills on the highway. You just have to roll with it. #InspireToWander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel A6 A year ago, we blew out a tire on our trailer in the middle of nowhere of Eastern Montana. And for some reason, the wrong jack was in it. Took a long time to get help. #InspireToWander

A6: It's not easy when illness hits on a road trip. Being prepared with medical records makes a clinic or hospital stop easier and safer. Made an unexpected visit to one in Oklahoma last summer and one in Scotland last week. #InspireToWander https://t.co/BHTsjN88Pn

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A6. Drove from Seattle to Los Angeles during their rainstorms and legit couldn’t see anything so we pulled off and ended up spending the night in Weed, CA - it was a blast making weed jokes and taking photos next to all the Weed signs #InspireToWander

A6. Traffic was so backed up on I-95 in Georgia that there were 42 minute delays and no alternatives accordinf to google. But I was able to find some back roads on the map and get us around it. It was actually interesting to see this area. #InspireToWander

A6 #InspireToWander on a last minute road trip, we got off a huge ferry at night with no hotel reservation, finally found the dirtiest motel with a view that included the burnt lights in the vacancy sign. We slept fully clothed on the sheets and showered with our sandals!

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A6: Pretty sure you already know the story of what happened when I went to Central Europe. I didn't so much "overcome" it as I did get hospitalized and sent home early! #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A6. I broke my wrist in the middle of a road trip in Iceland - no rural areas had hospitals with xrays so we had to drive back to Reykjavik #inspiretowander got back to sightseeing once I had a cast.
