replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2 I prefer short trips, but sometimes I can make it for 3 hours. Specially if it’s worth it 😆😉 #InspireToWander

Yessss I'm the same way! Also DAYUM that's one sweet ride! #InspireToWander https://t.co/QeKbOjgKmU

For a family-friendly day trip, I would pick a road with lots of stops along the way. The busier you can keep the kids the less you have to deal with "Are we there yet?" lol.
For Atlantans, Chattanooga is a pretty great family-friendly day trip. #inspiretowander

A6: Boston is always worth a trip. If you're not into the city, then either Portsmouth NH or Portland ME are two of our other favorites #InspireToWander @IBBtravel @inspiretowander

A6 #InspireToWander Either drive out to the Pacific Coast or if you like wines, the Willamette Valley to see our wineries

A visit to one of the many Kentucky bourbon distilleries! 🥃 #InspireToWander https://t.co/hwZD5UAUyh

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A3 I prefer car because I can stop where I want, specially for pictures and food ♥️ #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A1: Nothing specifically planned. But I'm near #SF, so I could go there whenever it's convenient. #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A5: Here, the Potomac River has a sand beach and virtually no waves, perfect for littles. Just sayin’. #InspireToWander

Haha great advice! I've definitely been that kid. still am sometimes! #InspireToWander https://t.co/XnJpgNTqGl

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2 I'd do a day tour to Calafate in Argentina Patagonia, again, any day! Takes 4 hours to and from Puerto Natales in Chile to get this view #InspireToWander

A5 #InspireToWander Portland has a lot of things for families. @OMSI or the zoo or Children’s Museum for a start. Oregon also hosts Howard Hughes “Spruce Goose”.

A6: Come & enjoy Kitchener, especially in the summer! We have plenty of markets & festivals, lots of great beer, sweet hiking trails & delicious coffee to keep you fuelled! If you need some inspiration 👇🏼 #inspiretowander

Another great day trip from Atlanta is Huntsville, AL! The US Space and Rocket Center is pretty awesome! And the Botanical Gardens there are on my bucket list. #inspiretowander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A7: Not having to pack up and move on to another hotel or rental. It's nice to be able to keep your stuff in your current place! #InspireToWander

replying to @IBBtravel @IBBtravel Come on dowwwn! I’ll host you anytime! #InspireToWander

A7: Easy on the wallet, you're supporting the local communities close to home & you can sleep in your own bed at night! Plus if you find something you really love, you can visit again easily! Especially foooooood. #InspireToWander

replying to @Polymathically @Polymathically @inspiretowander Anything in SF that you like doing? And would recommend to a tourist? #inspiretowander

replying to @BrainBlenderTec @BrainBlenderTec @ChelseaKrost Yeah. I didn't sleep under the covers, the floors and walls had some questionable stains, and they ran out of towels a couple of times, but the staff was friendly and laid back. They even had complimentary breakfasts, which is a blessing on any trip. #InspireToWander

A7: great way to see just a bit more of the area you are visiting. It’s good to make like a tree and branch out! #inspiretowander

replying to @theanchoredblog @theanchoredblog AWWW you're so sweet! I would LOVE that! #InspireToWander

A8: I can't think of one off the top of my head to be honest. I'm quite lucky! The biggest issue is weather but if Mother Nature rains on my parade, I usually push the day trip a day or two! #InspireToWander

A8: yes! Jamaica. booked one day trip but they just absorbed into a different day trip that we had actually done the day before. Such a mess...long story! But we tried to make the best of it #inspiretowander

replying to @aandj8804 @aandj8804 @inspiretowander For a first-timer in #SF, the best bets are Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard St, and Coit Tower. But I've hiked 3/4 of the city, so I usually skip all of that. (Contined) #InspireToWander

I like planning day trips so I can explore a place in a short amount of time. If I hate it, I only spent a day there. If I love it, I can always go back for a longer stay. #inspiretowander
