A fantastic perk of "off the beaten path"! #InspireToWander https://t.co/M12ImgdPx6

replying to @AvrexTravel @AvrexTravel @inspiretowander YAYAY! See you at TBEX! #InspireToWander

A1. Off the beaten path to me is a place that doesn't have an airport, takes a bit of research to get to and a place you want to share, but keep to yourself at the same time. #inspiretowander

A2: While I'm not against the more popular destinations, I tend to gravitate to smaller towns or suburbs. I just had an amazing time in Pennsylvania exploring smaller towns & can't wait to head north to the @TownofFortSmith on Thursday! #InspireToWander

A2: I do both! Some of the main tourist spots are ones you have to see and they're popular for good reason. But then there are others that are just as cool. And even end up turning into main tourist spots when people discover it! #InspireToWander https://t.co/4n8u7YgQ9m

#InspireToWander A 2) We do a combination. Sometimes it's fun to do touristy thing and sometimes it's nice to go off the beaten path

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2 We like a mix of both! It gives a well-rounded experience :) #InspireToWander

replying to @inspiretowander @inspiretowander A2. I usually will go to the main tourist destination. But, I also like to research to see if there is anything else that is unusual or different. I'll research other blogs or websites such as atlas Obscura. #InspireToWander

A2: We do a mix of both. Famous tourist spots are famous for a reason and I like to see them (especially the historically significant spots). But we also like to wander and discover things on our own #inspiretowander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO Agreed! Hot Springs Cove on #VancouverIsland is a great example, it takes 4 hours to drive from Victoria, an hour and half boat ride then finally a half an hour hike to reach but it's so worth it! #inspiretowander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO Both, we just stick to things we love doing - hiking, wine and exploring small towns. #InspireToWander

A2 #InspireToWander Usually the main destinations. Not to say I won’t go off the beaten path. I considered the Balkans & Vietnam somewhat off the beaten path & they were 2 of the more rewarding trips I’ve done.

Hi everyone! I’m late! Just landed in Anchorage which is where I’m tweeting from tonight #InspireToWander @JustinLaurenXO

replying to @epicureanexpats @epicureanexpats Sometimes these off the beaten path spots don't have a name or a map to where they are, or directions to where they are, so it makes it even tough to describe what/where it is anyway! 😅 #InspireToWander

replying to @girlonthefly17 @girlonthefly17 @JustinLaurenXO Better late than never I always say! So happy you could make it! #InspireToWander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A1. I definitely think more rustic, unknown places. Camping or something a little less glamorous than an Airbnb #InspireToWander

A2- I try to go to both touristy and lesser known spots. I like finding things that other people overlook, but the touristy attractions are popular for a reason #InspireToWander #travelingsession

replying to @girlonthefly17 @girlonthefly17 Hey! Welcome to the chat. Glad you could make it! #InspireToWander

WOW! I'm definitely remembering this one for later! Thanks for sharing! 💖 #InspireToWander https://t.co/XaHFv9VFlC

Q3: Where is the best country in the world for finding hidden gems that few people know about? #InspireToWander

A2. We do both tourist attractions and off the beaten path neighborhoods or small towns #inspiretowander

A3: I think every country has hidden gems, though I'm a little biased in that I think Canada truly has so many. It's such a big country with so much to discover! #InspireToWander https://t.co/XbqvYS3vz3

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2 like others have said, we mix our destinations. We tend to lean towards off the beaten path, we hate crowds and I grew up by a major attraction so I'm not really into the "tourist" experience #inspiretowander

A3: It's a tough question as there are hidden gems all over the world. Canada is pretty awesome for that. Just so much to see! #InspireToWander https://t.co/00oX6QQ9Am

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A2. Both but I just did a camping trip from Seattle to San Francisco going down Highway 101 and it was one of the best experiences I had so I definitely want to do more off the beaten path traveling. #InspireToWander

A3 #InspireToWander Vietnam was full of surprises. I’ve told people I spent 2 wks there & didn’t feel like I scratched the surface. I do believe I could do 2 more wks & see all new things.

replying to @girlonthefly17 @girlonthefly17 @JustinLaurenXO How exciting! There's a drive-thru animal refuge just outside of Anchorage towards Gridwood called Big Alaska thatis a-mazing! Have a great time! #inspiretowander

@inspiretowander A2: I do both! I love major destinations like Paris for instance, but I'm pretty sure I was one of few Americans in their Museum of Science and Inventions when I visited! Off the beaten path can still mean in the big city.

replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW I've heard great things about Vietnam. I think in 2020, Justin and I are going to travel more to Asia so perhaps we'll add it to our list! If not next year, then soon! #InspireToWander

replying to @MandyMPower @MandyMPower @JustinLaurenXO We enjoy the same! #inspiretowander

replying to @JustinLaurenXO @JustinLaurenXO A3. Oh that’s tough I feel like the US has so many hidden gems but so does Canada and Mexico and every country so can I say the world? 😂😅 #InspireToWander

So true! It just depends on how deep you dig into a destination! #InspireToWander https://t.co/oXi92PMazL
