Q5: What makes traveling for #festival or sports different from other kinds of trips? Via @travelsquire #JAchat

A5: I think that your schedule is dependent on the schedule of the #Festival or #Sporting event. Anything else you want to see you have to work around that #JAchat

A5: I can't quite put a finger on it. Maybe it's something tribal: the idea of traveling with or being surrounded by like-minded people. And you have to watch the clock. #JAchat

A5: Traveling for a #festival or #sports is different than regular travel because you do NOT set the schedule. The games starts at a specified time, the musicians come on stage at a set time, the beer starts pouring when they say so, etc. #JAchat

A5. The trip is more about the event or festival and not as much about experiencing the destination. Of course, if the event is in a killer destination, it definitely helps! #JAchat

A5 Sports trips can be insane when the rabid fans are on the plane or train. #travel #JAchat @jettingaround @travelsquire

A5.) What makes traveling for a festival different than "regular" travel is you're focused first on the event and then the destination. #jachat

A5 #JAchat there is bound to be a schedule, visits to the places will revolve around the event

A5: Have to book lodging and get tickets ASAP. Hotels for major sporting events can be sold out far in advance. Even rentals can get pricey. #JAchat

#jachat A5: you have a reason and a specific place to go to, rather than just being a usual tourist. I know people who travel to all the away games of their favourite sports teams for instance.

A5 If I travel I explore places and spend a lot of time during that. If I travel for an event this exploring has only second priority and I only do it if I have some time left #JAchat

A5: If you go specifically for a festival you feel like you're part of it and then less of a traveller and more of a local, if that makes sense #JAchat

replying to @CharlesMcCool @CharlesMcCool @travelsquire A5: You are never alone. Have a family feel to them. Or being with a bunch of friends. No solo traveling here. #travel #JAchat
