replying to @TravelAtWill @TravelAtWill @kate_frankie That iconic earthrise photo taken by Apollo 8 astronauts flying over the moon is one of my favorite images. Imagine looking at earth from the surface of Mars! A fuzzy, tiny blue dot. #pttravel
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish @GoGreenGatsby @kate_frankie Aye, it's on the usual Christmas Eve route to rural Aberdeenshire #pttravel
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish Well, the picture was taken in the "copy" of the Japanese module. I've worked for JAXA a couple of years ago ;-) that work changed a lot of life plans for me. #pttravel
A3 Not an observatory, but this was the pre-dawn scene last November at @NASA_Wallops before a resupply launch to the International Space Station. That's the pad lit up four miles away. #PTTravel PTTravel

A3 Observatory in Chile was fantastic years ago - not my photo https://t.co/D9ChV61uwZ
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Great photo, Kate! I’ve always wanted to see this! #pttravel

A3 A print I bought of the sky I saw through a huge telescope on my travels. I really want to go to another observatory
RT @BPackersGuide: A3 This was taken at the Umeda Sky Building in #Osaka #pttravel https://t.co/VJnayOA0gL
RT @TravelAtWill: A3 We stopped in the Mojave Desert to check out the Mojave Air and Space port on our way to Las Vegas once! https://t.co/…
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel I went to the London Planetarium once, but it was so long ago, I can hardly remember it.

@TravelAtWill Is that the desert where they have the secret area and UFO sightings? Someone had to bring up aliens.

replying to @findinganeish A3. Shamefully there’s an observatory here in Dundee that I’ve yet to visit. Maybe this Doors Open Day. #PTTravel
A4 I likely couldn't go, but I'd at least like to see a trip to Mars in my lifetime. #PTTravel

A4. I probably wouldn’t go on the 1st voyages as those are likely to be 1 way trips, but if it ever got as convenient as visiting #Europe from the #USA, absolutely. In the meantime, we need to remember there is no #PlanetB and we need to take care of life on this one.
#PTtravel
replying to @DawnCorleone @DawnCorleone @kate_frankie It would be amazing to see. #PTTravel 😵
A4 #pttravel Don't think so ... unless they improve the travelling time and the living conditions considerably!
RT @GoGreenGatsby: A3. Best night sky = #Iceland! This photo was from #Thingvellir in September.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. Yes, I’d go to Mars, but only if that trip has been perfected to such a degree that it takes only a few weeks to get there. 😃 As of now, it would take about 8 months or longer, I believe. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. Again, I don’t think I would. I travel to experience new cultures, explore new landscapes and encounter new wildlife. Not to look at space rocks out of a window. #PTTravel
A4. Well, I do usually need to know what's over the horizon. but I think I'd only be leaving Earth if we really destroyed the planet, and I hope I'd do all I could to prevent that. #pttravel
