A6 #pttravel That's a mousetrap everyone has tried to make better. I really haven't seen anything that revolutionary.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot It sounds great. I've done 28.5 miles in a day which I guess is small in comparison. I'd be up for doing a small bit. Maybe #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Cool beans. Our plan is to do as much as possible on long distance footpaths, so we'll do the whole Pennine Way for instance. #PTTravel That's as close as we get to you ...

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie Our aim is to average 15 miles a day. This will obviously depend on terrain, weather, and convenient stopping points. #pttravel

A6 I'm considering trying the pickpocket proof bags that zip on the inside part rather than outside. Anyone got one? Otherwise, any good backpack will do #pttravel

A6 #pttravel I was given a small backpack by our river cruise operator. It has a zip-off pouch that can be used to hold stuff you need immediately, while the main pack can go in the overhead bin.

A5. Waterproof compression bags. Colour coded so you know what's in each. Underwear, thermals, warm layers, going out clothes. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A6. I got a small black case from @TrippLuggage in the sales one year and haven’t looked back. (I really wanted the purple one but they didn’t have any in stock.) #PTTravel

replying to @findinganeish @kate_frankie @TrippLuggage It’s prefect for my needs: small yet spacious with wheels that could survive the worlds longest staircase, and still the neatest little case on the carousel even after three years of use. #PTTravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie @TravelAtWill @aok_NW I just buy loads. Last train journey was 7 hours to Aberdeenshire, so I needed all the sustenance #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Sorry I had to pop off. But last time I actually did Ireland with a carry on! Though I did put my shoes in mom's suitcase, so it may not totally count! 😂 #pttravel

A6. My @Deuterpacks daysack fits in the carry-on for most airlines and packs into a overhead locker better than a case. And it's way easier to get round the airport than a wheely case, up and down stairs, through tunnels, along conveyors #pttravel

replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish @TrippLuggage I'm sending emotional attachment. This tells me it's a good case #PTTravel
