A2 #PTtravel My shift schedule allows two weeks off for every five. Because of their push to cut back on overtime, they’ve been restricting that some. I had to really complain for my June request. The rest should come soon.

I get 31 days holiday from work but last year I could not take all days because of to much work. Usually I travel 30 days of 31 #pttravel

#pttravel A1. Currently myself and my boyfriend are on an extended trip. We’ll be travelling to Bolivia after we’ve finished in Peru and hope to spend the summer working in Scotland. Anything can happen though so we’ll see!

A2 #pttravel I'm retired, so I can go when I like; preferably the shoulder season, when things are cheaper & less crowded. When I worked, I was my own boss, so could go when I liked, in theory. However, we gave priority to those with school-age kids during school holidays

A2 we get 13 weeks a year holiday but we will work from the last week in the summer holidays really. We live near Gatwick though so weekend to some European capitals is also an option #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Not too many. taking it a bit slow in 2019. Probably 8 personal overseas, mostly weekend trips max, rest in UK or work-related. Only booked w/e in Venice in Feb & fortnight Tokyo/Sydney in Mar so far. 😀 #PTTravel

A2 I get 30 days annual leave, a university shutdown period of around 1 week over Christmas and New Year and bank holidays thrown in. I do not complain! Very grateful
