replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: When I used to have a 'real' job, I used to add annual leave days to weekends and do long weekends around Europe. I also chose a 9-day fortnight working pattern, so had every second Friday off - free long weekends! #PTTravel

replying to @solosoulblogger @solosoulblogger Its pros and cons either way. I used to envy the part-time workers I was friends with when they had time to work on projects they wanted to or just not put the alarm on some days. The flip side was less money & so not many trips actually #PTTravel

A3 at my last job I tried to take holiday combined with red days to get as much holiday as possible but at this job it’s much harder to do that. So can mostly have holiday during the summer. Not used to that. I like to travel in spring and autumn. #pttravel

A3 #PTtravel in my 5 wk schedule, there’s a two week period where you’re scheduled to work 32 hrs. The rest of the time is unpaid. I requested the 32 hrs vacation resulting in 2 weeks off. It’s a very efficient way to use my vacation hours.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. When I request days off I put in for MWF off to stretch my vacation because they can’t assign me a work trip for one day so it gives me two weeks off only using 6 paid vacation days, weekends and taking 4 unpaid vacation days.

replying to @RoamingRequired @RoamingRequired 😁😁Yeah, teaching is a good option if you love travelling - we get less in the UK than a lot of countries! You do need some to recuporate but we normally just plan that in the first couple of days of a trip😀 #pttravel
