A1 I get an annual family policy (currently with InsureFor). On the face of it looks adequate but unfortunately you never know how good they are until you have to use them. Never, ever made a claim #pttravel

A1 Even if you have good health insurance, be sure to check before you get too deep into planning if you'll still be covered wherever your trip takes you. #PTTravel

A1 I have my own personal travel insurance that I get annual good cover on for just over £100 and USA/Canada is included
I also have risk assessments to do for my company to get cover for my work trips. Medical cover is a good level and repatriation included

I usually go with mid-range cover through Thomson. I’ve never had to make a claim though, so I have no idea if it’s actually any good. #PTTravel

Ohhh travel insurance is good topic, love to know more about it cause I never get one, and thinking that its a good idea depending where. However I do always bring the basic meds just in case of emergency #pttravel

A1. I have specific travel insurance from that includes cover for tall ship and offshore sailing voyages. It includes some other activities, but I also have additional insurance for trekking in mountain areas #PTTravel

A1. We have an insurance policy that is geared towards Americans living/traveling abroad. Basically we pay hospital bills/medical card and then get reimbursed. We’ve never had to use it. #PTTravel
