A4 - A very mini first aid kit with just my personal essentials. Alcohol wipes, bandaids, moleskin, hydro-cortisone cream, antibiotic ointment and Plan B. If I need something else I buy it locally (it's usually cheaper abroad). #PTTravel

A4 I don't carry a first-aid kit, but perhaps should. I haven't taken a big trip in a while. When the next time comes, that might be a consideration. #PTTravel

A4. I’m currently on a year-long trip and I have a very basic first aid kit in my backpack. I had first aid training maybe 20 years ago and a couple of quick refreshers via my previous employer over the past few years. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @findinganeish No, it was when my AF got really bad. I was prescribed a med that made me worse. When I was admitted, the doctor didn't look at my test results and was going to DOUBLE the dose. When I made reference to the tests, the med was replaced with something else. #pttravel

In many places they won't prescribe antibiotics for an eye infection, but after THE EYE INCIDENT I was advised to trust my gut and begin treatment as soon as possible if it happens again. #PTTravel

A5. We don’t check for medical info/locations in every city we visit- but maybe 50%? Quite often one of us will note-“oh there’s a hospital/pharmacy/doctor” nearby and we figure we can call hotel front desk to get help if needed if we feel unwell. #pttravel
