A4 #PTTravel Short answer; don't! Long answer Take local advice; it could be that the bad weather is short-lived, and has reasonable interludes between. Some places. you can just about set your watch by the storms!

replying to @char_x0 @char_x0 @kate_frankie A4: Agree with Char. While tricky to travel to some destinations when they are most prone to changeable weather, there are deals to be had. Think places like Mauritius in the 'off season'. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. Oh yeah, I’d maybe advise against climbing a mountain or exploring a forest during a thunderstorm but it’s one of the best times to tour a city — you have to practically to yourself. #PTTravel

It's a tough one to get right. You can have quite mild monsoon season where rain comes and goes quickly. It is a lot cheaper to travel then.
On the other hand, you could end up in a nightmare storm

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I've never travelled during storm season, but interested in hearing what others have to say. There is a small possibility I may be in the Caribbean during hurricane season this year :/ #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4) During monsoon season it's best to be travelling to a few places as the storms are not always as intense in some destinations. Book a hotel with lots of onsite activities such as a gym or indoor pool in case the rain storms last for a few hours. Also visit museums #PTTravel
