I'm joining you from my home in #NorthEastEngland and really enjoying the sun! 🌞❤
A1 #PTTravel Bank holiday? Stay home; everyone and his uncle is usually on the road that week-end!
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Portland, Oregon! It’s got great food & beer, plus it’s only a little over an hour flight away from me #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Clearwater Beach and 30A in Florida are some of my current favorite spots! I love how close they are and that they don't require as much planning as other places for me! #pttravel

A1 A few times, I've done Northumberland beaches or countryside and had luck in not being too crowded.
I've done long weekend trips to Europe over bank holidays too

A2 I've always wanted to test how far I could get on a long weekend (3 nights).
I've done Europe easily. No longer than 4 hour flights.
Would somewhere in North Africa be too far? Middle East?
Good evening #PTTravel! Joining tonight from Falmouth, where we're being treated to sea shanties on the sea front while we enjoy a beer in the 'front pub. #Cornwall #bankholidayvibes
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 If we had weekends like this one in #Scotland all the time we would never leave! Yep, that’s the sky just now #pttravel @VisitScotland @scotlandhour
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 I normally stay home for bank holidays because it can be so expensive to travel and I'm not limited to school holidays. This weekend I've been to the zoo! #PTtravel
A2- Now that I'm back in the US, I travel to a different part of the country or state on long weekends. But, when I lived in Germany, every time I could get an extra day off I was in another country #pttravel #travelingsession
A3 #PTTravel Some English Heritage properties have a historical re-enactment most Bank Holidays. My nearest is Old Sarum ... nobbut a bus ride away!
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel Just came back from #FriendsFest in Bristol! #TravelTribe
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 Now you're asking! Really hard as we have lots of short hops - may have to double up! but Ohrid was a fabulous 3 night trip...#pttravel
A3- Long weekends are more about relaxing than trying to cram a bunch of activities into a schedule #pttravel #travelingsession
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 But then there was also Bergen.....fabulous 3 day trip.....#PTTravel
