replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a1: I tend to stay at home. When I had a job I loved working that period between Christmas and New Year because no-one else did so I felt like I had an office all to myself.

Also, almost no-one travels in mid-Jan so I tend to go away then, if at all in this period.

A1 #pttravel I did once. In 2015 I visited Germany & the Markets. I’m considering doing it again for next year.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1 It has always been the one school holiday that I have stayed home for and then last year we went to Trinidad and Tobago and now - a sun top up for the Stromfields will commence every year at this time :) :) #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: I'm not a fan of celebrating formal holidays (christmas / birthdays etc), so prefer to travel - it keeps the pressure off and, well, any excuse to travel really! #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1) Usually stay at home as it’s expensive to travel around this time and I prefer going off peak e.g late Jan #PTTravel

A1 Not long distance, bit we'll take day trips to get with relatives around Christmas. Not so much around New Year's because of others on the roads. #PTTravel

A1 Usually I stay for Christmas with my family then go away over New Year's Eve.
This year I'm gone from 18th December to 7th January & my mother is not so happy!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I always go on a trip right after Christmas and through New Years. Not because I’m a NYE reveler, but because my workplace is slow at this time and it’s a good time for a holiday. #pttravel

A1 #pttravel I like to take visits to the tropics like this one to #Cuba during December to avoid getting up and going home in the dark.

A1 We go away for #twixmas (between Xmas & NY) - in the UK it’s like the twilight zone but in Europe the festivities and markets continue. This year we’re doing Lille, Bruges and Ghent #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1- I try and travel every holiday, to include my birthday. Am single, and really do not have friends in the area. Will be headed to Florence this Thursday. Have not planned yet for Christmas.

Was in Ireland for my birthday last month. #PTTravel
