A3 #PTTravel Only once. I wanted to see what Ellis Island, NY would look like in B&W. These were the results.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: I'm an old school photographer - learnt on film, and still use it when I can. Since going digital, I still try to recreate my old black and white prints! Here are some recents: Manarola, Cinque Terre; Confolens, France; Rue Mouffetard, Paris; Friend's wedding #PTTravel

A3- I don't often shoot in black & white, but I may lean that way in post production. And most time's I won't do a true monochrome, but use a lot of contrast instead

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 There are so many that it doesn't seem fair to be limited to one. Here are a few. #PTTravel (My pictures from #Patagonia, #Indonesia, the #UK and #Somaliland).
When you visit #Moab, Utah, plan to do an off-road #jeep adventure for a heart racing adventure! https://t.co/NI3tZcgsKP #PTTravel
A3 #PTTravel Usually use 'gradient map' when I want to emphasise texture, rather than colour ... and, sometimes, when I just like playing around!
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 probably Bali. But it has got a bit overrun with tourist spots now! The rice fields in Canggu are stunning but not sure if I’d go again. Anyway it’s generally just naturally beautiful everywhere #PTTravel
A3 Sometimes black and white is just more striking. Or there are times when a lack of colour (not just monochrome have a great effect - like at dawn) #Pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 #PTtravel Had to check the other IG of mine. Sure, sometimes, especially if it's about nostalgic things.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I’ve never really understood black and white as a medium in its own right, or seen how it enhances an image. I couldn’t even take a monochrome photo in Aberdeen: The Granite City. #PTTravel
It's been far too long. I thought I'd pop into #PTTravel for the first time in months.
Hi guys!
