A1 #PTTravel Will tolerate cold/snow, but not wet! Used to like Nordic ski-ing and winter hillwalking, but not so much these days. But, still like watching & photographing snow-covered mountains from afar

A1 #PTTravel When I was younger, very much so. I liked going and seeing the first snow in the Cascades. Now the only thing I like to do in January is take a trip to a place where it is warm. My mid winter warm up I call it.

I don't mind winter. In fact, I like having 4 seasons here. I find dark mornings & dark evenings a bit tough. I need sunshine!
I'm fine with chilly and even wet weather. I quite like the quiet and brightness that snow gives. Everything grinding to a halt - not fun

However, on a recent trip to Amsterdam and Prague, I discovered that I can tolarate it and have fun. Snow is beautiful to capture in shots. But living where it snows, sorry no can’t do! #PTTravel
