Getting out & exploring in winter

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A6. I’ve gone off cars of late. I like the inconvenience and escape afforded by public transport - it gives me a chance to read all the books I got for Christmas. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A6 depends on where we are. We usually drive in Canada because the public transit system is nonexistent or limited. In Europe and Asia we use public transit. It definitely can be harder to travel! A photo from last night before we headed out to a party. #PTTravel

A6 #PTTravel I usually use public transport if I can; it's reassuring to have a professional behind the wheel. That is, if the timetables haven't gone to rat's droppings!
replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW We were never allowed too close. Watching from a coffee shop is fun #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I can’t imagine enjoying going to the beach in winter, personally I feel like it would just make me long for warm summer days that always seem so far away in the UK at winter #PTTravel
replying to @dipyourtoesin @dipyourtoesin @aok_NW @kate_frankie It's amazing! And there's hardly any crowds #pttravel
A6 Other countries seem to be just so much more prepared than us in the UK. I hate driving in snow and I’ve had some ‘interesting’ trips with Finnish taxi drivers! #pttravel

@kate_frankie A4: Hot soup, hot-chocolate, but my favorite is hot tea. This was two years ago in Zhangjiajie, China, where I visited the Zhangjiajie National Forest and it was cold and rainy. Green tea and Chinese music kept me warm 😍.

A6 #pttravel I really don't do anything different. The snow usually stays in the mountains, so if you aren't going up there, not much to worry about. I have no problem with the public transport here winter or summer. It's a good system.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Oh, it was every bit as amazing as people said it was! #pttravel

A5: Went on a boat ride in Winter around the Swedish archipelgo. Was discussing it at breakfast with my travel buddy (who didn’t wanna go) & a lovely lady overheard our convo & asked if she could go with me. That’s how I became captain of her Swedish adventure #pttravel https://t.co/yPZAr5aNs3

I would happily avoid driving in winter. It's too stressful for me when its icy. Mainly because of other people tbh. I hate the germs on public transport, I always get cold. Otherwise, I'm quite happy to go on buses or trains
replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales Emptier than Digbeth Coach Station...#pttravel

I hope you have a great week. See you next Sunday
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I don’t personally drive so I spend most of my time on public transport. If it’s especially cold and not too expensive I will get a cab. If I’m away thought I find that on public transport you get to see more of the surroundings and scenery #PTTravel
