@kate_frankie A5: Yes, we usually go on short breaks in winter. One of my favourite was Malta, a summer destination. Even if you don't go to the beach, it's still a great place to visit.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5 we visited Venice and Rome in February. There were still tourists but way less than summer. It just felt more relaxed and was around 20C. Only thing was the Trivi Fountain was covered in scaffolding! #PTTravel

I'm not sure if anyone feels this way but I love the energy of a stormy beach/coastline. I could spend ages watching waves smash against the coast. From a safe distance of course!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie The Oregon Coast can be that way this time of year. It was very stormy last week and you need to be careful, a family was swept out to sea by a sneaker wave. 1 child drowned, another is still missing. Best to watch from a distance. #pttravel
