replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @Pinkzenjoy I was horribly sick on the way out to the Great Barrier Reef; no one tells you how far out it is! Will never forget it - amazed I still managed to snorkel after that! #pttravel

replying to @ronanmaenardo @ronanmaenardo @kate_frankie I went to a water village in Cambodia - the use of various objects as boats was amazing! Did you go there? #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie The only time I felt really really sick on a boat was in Seychelles just looking at other passengers puking. The sea was so choppy but somehow managed for 2 hours by distracting myself with the view outside. 😂 #PTTravel

A4 I love a bargain. If it's not worth it, I won't do it (sometimes Mrs L hates me for that). We've done a couple of speed boat trips off Dubai (brilliant but bumpy as hell) but only because I got 2-4-1 or a big discount #pttravel

A4 #pttravel Not for day trips. I picked a tour on my phone that looked good, buy it & they pick up and drop off. A multi day cruise might require some planning. Cruising the Mekong River in Vietnam & yes those clouds meant business.

A3 Oh I forgot - this was our transport getting across a river in Madagascar! #pttravel

A4 Depends what they are. Cruise companies vary in price. Packing is hard if going to multiple places with varying temps like I did in S.America. I prefer to take cheap ferries & stay on the mainland near the water. Plus there’s always expensive boat activities...! #PTTravel

A3. I've made this cruise up the Thames into central London a few times, on a couple of the most incredible sailing ships, Atyla + Lord Nelson are pictured below. #pttravel

A1: Yes and Yes.

We have boated/rafted down rivers in #CostaRica multiple times to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Highly recommended.

replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales I would have thought anything in Dubai would be expensive? I took a helicopter to see the water from above. Did you like Dubai overall? #pttravel

A5 Can't really answer this although on a Bilboats river cruise last August they did serve cans of San Miguel, which coincidentally is what I'm drinking just now ;-) #pttravel
