Q2 How do you find accommodation on boats? Do they have all the facilities you need?

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: i mean, they have somewhere to lie, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to poop. It's fine.

And you can drive them to pubs, which caters for two of those needs!

The electrics aren't great, and the cooking isn't ideal, but it's fine. #pttravel

A2 I've never looked tbh. Just not my thing - I did spend one night in a wheelhouse on a houseboat on the Ouse in York. That was enough. Forever šŸ¤¢ #pttravel

A2 #PTTravel Adequate ... sometimes luxurious, especially on Rhine cruise boats. I little cramped on some of the older boats, but I can live with it.

A2 #pttravel Iā€™ve never stayed overnight on a boat, so I canā€™t say anything about overnight accommodations. Seating & food depends on what boat youā€™re on. Sometimes itā€™s fine, sometimes not so much.

A2 A night on a small boat was cramped & shared toilet - no shower. Iā€™ve done cruises which are good for having a choice of food, own bathroom. but are also cramped. Have spotted Wales though! Thereā€™s also the odd feeling once you get off that youā€™re still swaying! #PTTravel

If you want to see the sunrise over Doubtful Sound then you can stay on a @realjourneys boat overnight - Well worth it for views like this #NZmustDo #pttravel A2
