replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4 Some cruises can be expensive but you can research, keep a tab on rates for different seasons and check deals for several months before you book if you have the patience. 😂 I also email and check if there are any discounts. 😀 #PTTravel

Q5 What is the food and drink like? Do you have any stops on land to explore further?

RT @Stromfieldadvs: A3 Oh I forgot - this was our transport getting across a river in Madagascar! #pttravel https://t.co/ya9vSliGOs

replying to @FE_photograph @FE_photograph @TourismFiji I’ve always said I’d like to do the cage dive with the Great Whites in https://t.co/2aE5kyHE6J one day #pttravel

replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales @Pinkzenjoy @kate_frankie #pttravel Yes! We had quite a sporting crossing to Ireland a couple of years back. Managed to 'keep it down' but most reluctant to move from my seat!

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot That looks like such a cute staycation idea. I'd ruin it but. #PTTravel

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith @kate_frankie We've been on the viking ocean cruise and it was fantastic. I do want to go on one of their river cruises someday. #PTTravel

RT @RooLovesTravel: @kate_frankie @Pinkzenjoy I was horribly sick on the way out to the Great Barrier Reef; no one tells you how far out it…

replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales I would have thought anything in Dubai would be expensive? I took a helicopter to see the water from above. Did you like Dubai overall? #pttravel

A4- Getting around #Venice can be a bit pricey

A5 Can't really answer this although on a Bilboats river cruise last August they did serve cans of San Miguel, which coincidentally is what I'm drinking just now ;-) #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Yes, I love boat cruise and always make sure to do it in any country I visit #PTTravel

replying to @RooLovesTravel @RooLovesTravel @TourismFiji Its fantastic but sooo cold in the water #pttravel

A5 #pttravel Food & drink were about the same in my experience. Maybe more expensive though. My pictures of Halong Bay where food was provided & alcohol was extra.

replying to @FE_photograph @FE_photograph @BambooTravel Best place in the world. And the farther East you go, the better it gets. #Pttravel

A5 #PTTravel Again, infinitely variable! Certainly more 'port rich' than the average ocean cruise. Favourite: English Holiday Cruises, on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal, when they stopped at the Slimbridge Bird Reserve.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie If you make good research you will always find something suits your budget.#PTTravel

replying to @RooLovesTravel @RooLovesTravel @Txiki_Tales Got a flight there in a couple of weeks. Been probably 15 - 20 times. Love the place, great base for the region. #Pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5 #PTtravel the houseboat trips in Kerala : they buy local fish, shrimps and lobsters and cook it fresh 😊 Ofcourse endless rounds of fresh coconut water

replying to @vickyinglis13 @vickyinglis13 @ATYLA_ship @JubileeSailing @HMSPresidentRNR Wow! It looks unreal. I know you've shared photos before but I still think that's amazing #PTTravel

RT @Stromfieldadvs: A4 We've only ever done day trips on boats - easier to plan when you are there generally #pttravel

replying to @RooLovesTravel @RooLovesTravel I love it (and Abu Dhabi). I know the UAE is a country of contradictions but I find it fascinating. We've looked at moving over there for a while at least and I did have a couple of interviews, but that remains a pipe dream for now. ;-) #pttravel

A5 Cruise ships offer various food & cater for diets. Smaller boats may not. For day trips I don’t expect much as a vegan so take my own food. Boats usually = seafood👎🏻 I much prefer to stop on land for a meal. In Brunei we took a boat to have tea at a local’s home #PTTravel

replying to @JaiBharathi @JaiBharathi @kate_frankie 'Fresh coconut water' is India code for Bhang Lassi. #Pttravel

replying to @RooLovesTravel @RooLovesTravel @Txiki_Tales I did find sightseeing and entry fees everywhere in Dubai expensive. But then I travel from India so every other country is expensive in comparison. 😂 #PTTravel

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith I also wonder if things like that will be cheaper after lockdown to get people going again? Might be pleasantly surprised #PTTravel

Q6 What advice would you give someone looking at boat trips who had never been on one before?

replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales I love the fact that when I am wondering whether it might be too early for a drink, a photo of your wife pops up on my feed reminding me, it probably isn't 😂 #PTTravel

replying to @Txiki_Tales @RooLovesTravel You can get lovely hot samosas from the supermarket for about 40p - not everything is expensive! #pttravel
