replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Evenin' all. Had a surprisingly dry wander around a very quiet York today and looking forward to a post #pttravel pamper courtesy of Mrs L - never got round to it on Fathers' Day!

A1- Responsible travel at a minimum is not being overly wasteful just because you're away from home. Treat every place like you would your home and leave it the way you found it

Ok, time to let it all out!

Q2 What issues are important to you from littering, to pollution, to leaving no trace? What are your biggest pet peeves?

A2- Nothing pisses me off more than having to edit peoples' trash out of a beautiful shot

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith Yes, although sometimes the grafitti is even more entertaining than the street art - like this on the Berlin Wall #pttravel

Enjoy the trip around the #GoldenCircle from #Reykjavik. There are some great natural beauty sights in #Iceland at the stops along the way. https://t.co/jdFqvhBSCQ #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 I bought a @WatertoGoUK bottle to avoid buying so many plastic bottles abroad. I also don’t use hotel toothbrushes as they sometimes replace them daily! I ensure I try to avoid single use plastic as much as poss, & don’t litter #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: There were a multitude of reasons but I ended up taking three overseas trips by land last year.

Certainly within Europe, it's possible to take alternative travel routes that don't require flying #PTTravel

A3 We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express in Nuremburg a couple of years back - they give you the option of swapping room cleaning for a complimentary drink. Double-win! #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. For four months now they’re the only trips I’ve been able to make. I’ve walked everywhere, really cut back on takeaway coffees and started working from home. I plan to continue as much as possible going forward. #PTTravel

A3 #PTTravel I don't have any photos of litter; I've even been known to pick it up and bin it before taking my photo' But, here's some photos of a 'bear-proof' litter bin in Canada ... where even the bears can read French!
