A2 Litter. On the ground, in bushes, in the sea, everywhere! There are usually bins but even if there aren't, I'm sure you could carry something until you found one.
Damage and vandalism is also unacceptable. Pollution, over-tourism and people being rude

#pttravel A2: bit of a weird, and non-travel related, comment about recycling, but.

... there's no consistency. The recycling policy of each UK local council is different - different things can be recycled, different things can go in different bins.

replying to @Stromfieldadvs @Stromfieldadvs @Txiki_Tales #pttravel I have known folk to pick up after their dog ... then leave the bag by a hedge, or hang it from a tree or something. Do they think the DS Fairy will come by & pick it up?

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith @kate_frankie In some hotels these days, there's usually a water dispenser where you can refill. Even indian airports have water filling stations. But I think the world needs to do more to get rid of this plastic bottle menace. #pttravel

replying to @char_x0 @char_x0 @kate_frankie I can't think of a single city I've visited that has benefitted from the arrival of a cruise. In November we had a lovely day in Malaga - then THREE ships arrived overnight and unleashed more than 10,000 day-trippers. #pttravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot #pttravel so in Ashfield, glass is separated from cardboard/plastic, whereas here in Sheffield, glass/plastic is together and separated from cardboard.

replying to @char_x0 @char_x0 @kate_frankie Public transport + active travel (walking, cycling etc) is such a good thing, not just for saving carbon emissions, but it also reduces congestion + traffic around cities + natural sites #PTTravel
