#pttravel A4: I don;t go to spas at home, like i don;t use gyms, so i dunno why i'd use one on holiday lol

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith I've had that feeling in a few places. Travel is great for finding that kind of connection #PTTravel

Q5 Some wellness travel packages are quite expensive and exclusive.
Does this have to be more expensive than other trips? Can you do wellness on a budget?

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I love being in the water. Swimming, snorkelling, scuba, or even just floating + splashing around. Going to bite the bullet + have a cold water swim in the river tomorrow. Not feeling very brave just now 🥶 #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: depends what wellness you want. spas cost money. mud facials cost money. standing on a hillside with the wind in your hair does not. Pools cost money. The sea does not. It depends what you need.

A5 #PTTravel I have no comment; this sort of thing I avoid like the plague. At least, in the service, I got paid for being beasted around by a PTI 😆

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5 I think there’s something for every budget. I’m happy spending a weekend in a cabin in the countryside relaxing. Or in NZ I visited natural hotsprings. You can pay hundreds for a yoga retreat or you can go do it in the local park. It’s all relative #pttravel

A5 This is a pet peeve of mine! Some travel companies & 'influencers' will try to sell a very expensive spa break as real wellness. I actually think that's more harmful. Wellness is different for everyone so a range of prices, accommodation and activities is good

MomsWanderlust

A5: I think it depends on exclusivity, and I believe you get what you pay for. We've stayed at all inclusive mountain retreats and we've stayed at all inclusive treehouses in Costa Rica. Different price points, but different wellness experiences. Work within a budget. #PTTravel
